Here is a scene when Robb is taking control: 'Robb, you’re getting upset. What if we just leave her in place for a while until we know that you’re back up to speed and operating all right? I know Joyce, and we can trust her.' I was already angry and his last point just drove me over the top. 'Don’t tell me someone ’we’ could trust,' I yelled at him. 'Someone you could trust.' Takrit had already told me that Limes had worked as a bookkeeper for Grimsley and had recently been laid off due to the slowdown. Takrit also said they had an ’on again, off again’ affair. I stood up from the table and leaned across at him, 'I know she used to work for you, and I know you were screwing her. You just want to keep her around, and you want me to pay for your playmate. Screw you!' The last point exploded out of me and Grimsley looked stunned at the revelation.. He tried to get up out of the chair, but his strength seemed to fail him. He pointed to his jacket sprawled on the sofa across the room. 'Robb, my pills.' Takrit hissed in my brain, Don’t. Grimsley made another attempt to get up, 'Robb, please, my heart pills.' Don’t. I sat back down and watched Grimsley struggle to get out of the chair. Finally, by using both hands on the chair arms, he was able to heave himself up and take one step toward the sofa and his jacket. His l
