Como embajador de Argentina en Honduras a finales de la década del sesenta, Carlos A. Ferro descubrió al general Francisco Morazán, y fue inevitable que encontrara similitudes entre el héroe centroamericano y el prócer argentino José de San Martín. Francisco Morazán y José de San Martín compartieron ideales de libertad, así como una visión de integración regional que se adelantó a su época. De allí que ambos sean considerados en sus pueblos como sus héroes más importantes. Con esta reedición, Colección Erandique agradece la iniciativa que el exembajador Carlos A. Ferro tuvo de escribir sobre el general Francisco Morazán. CARLOS A. FERRO. Llegó a Honduras como embajador de Argentina en 1967. Antes fue diplomático en Francia, Yugoslavia, Líbano, Hungría, Ecuador, Checoslovaquia, Polonia y la República Federal Alemana. Doctor en Ciencias Jurídicas y Sociales.
