Can a simple ancient yogic practice truly reshape modern health challenges like overweight and obesity?This work explores that question through a rigorous, randomized controlled clinical study evaluating the impact of Suryanamaskara-the timeless sequence of yogic postures-on Body Fat Percentage and BMI in individuals with Sthaulaya (overweight).Rooted deeply in Ayurvedic theory and supported by modern scientific methodology, this book bridges tradition and evidence. Drawing from classical texts, the study explains Sthaulaya as a Santarpanajanya Vyadhi, a condition born from over-nourishment, impaired Medodhatvagni, and Kapha imbalance.
