Salt Bones is a life crystallized. Though divided into four distinct sections, each poem is a sliver of a broader puzzle in which the question of how our personal experience affects our interactions with the world-be it natural or built, with others or ourselves, in dreams or reality-is explored. Though Salt Bones’ poems are diverse in subject and geography, a common thread runs through: a yearning for wholeness; the unification of past and present.
