Patsy is in a desperate hurry to get away from where she is right now after getting a phone call from her friend Betty that the caretaker from the Mental Institution were on their way to find her. Joseph, her husband also the Elder of the church had convinced the church board that Patsy was losing her mind and was a serious problem at home and even a larger problem in the church and the community.Joseph has the idea that he is God’s gift to women and plays the role of a womanizer. He has fallen deep into hypocrisy causing many around him to fall from grace and agree with many of his sinful ways. He wants to divorce Patsy and preserve his position in the church, keep his retirement in tack, but he must also convince the church that what he is doing is right since you must have Biblical reason to divorce.
