The study examines different subjects in the English and Welsh higher education system, including chapters on technician and business education, as well as art, agriculture, and management education. This revised third edition of the original work also looks at teacher education, staff development, research and curriculum development, taking steps to imagine what would happen to education in England and Wales after the decade of the 1980s.
