Matemática, filosofía e interdisciplina es la biografía más completa a la fecha del destacado matemático, lógico y filósofo, que fue el fundador y primer decano de la Facultad de Matemáticas de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. El panorama biográfico contenido en estas páginas fue confeccionado con los documentos que él mismo dejó luego de fallecer, sumando material de prensa nacional e internacional de la época y entrevistas a siete de sus colaboradores más cercanos con el fin de repasar íntegramente su trayectoria desde sus años de formación hasta su muerte. No solo contempla sus éxitos laborales más notables, sino que profundiza en las motivaciones personales, académicas, religiosas y políticas tras la provechosa relación entre ciencia y filosofía que trasciende las relevantes contribuciones por las que hoy se le reconoce.Este libro también recopila parte relevante del trabajo académico de Chuaqui, con el objeto de mostrar su gran extensión. Se incluyen cuatro artículos publicados en Revista Universitaria (UC) en el siglo XX más cinco artículos inéditos póstumos que revelan la amplia veta investigativa que desarrolló al alero de universidades y otras instituciones. Destacan entre ellos temas como el platonismo, la verdad y la probabilidad, el escepticismo, la relación entre ciencia, filosofía y sociedad, y la aplicación científica de la lógica.
