Ogólnym celem nauczycieli pisania, zwłaszcza na poziomie akademickim, jest zazwyczaj doprowadzenie studentów do tworzenia spójnych, przemyślanych i dobrze sformułowanych tekstów. Jednym ze sposobów pomocy studentom i prowadzenia ich do osiągnięcia tego celu jest reagowanie na błędy popełniane przez nich w pisaniu. W tym kontekście niniejsze badanie ma na celu zbadanie roli pisemnych informacji zwrotnych dotyczących poprawek (WCF) w rozwoju umiejętności pisania osób uczących się języka angielskiego jako języka obcego. W odniesieniu do wydziału języka angielskiego w Rabacie, niniejsze badanie ma na celu wykazanie, w jakim stopniu WCF może wpływać na umiejętności pisania osób uczących się języka angielskiego jako języka obcego na uniwersytecie. Kolejnym celem niniejszego badania jest wykazanie, która metoda WCF jest bardziej skuteczna w rozwoju umiejętności pisania studentów uniwersytetu.
