L’endodontie régénérative a introduit de nombreuses procédures telles que l’implantation de la pulpe, la revascularisation et la thérapie par cellules souches postnatales. La revascularisation a été mise en œuvre avec succès en clinique de nos jours, offrant ainsi aux dentistes des résultats remarquables. La fibrine riche en plaquettes (PRF) utilisée seule ou avec une greffe osseuse favorise la croissance osseuse et la vascularisation. Les applications de la PRF en endodontie régénérative sont nombreuses, notamment comme agent de réparation des perforations iatrogènes du plancher pulpaire et pour la revascularisation des dents permanentes immatures dont la pulpe est nécrosée. L’objectif principal de l’application du PRF en endodontie est de stimuler la recherche sur les procédures régénératives en endodontie et d’encourager les cliniciens à utiliser le PRF pour améliorer la guérison de leurs patients et sauver la dentition naturelle.
