Niniejsza praca stanowi naukową analizę, przedstawia zarówno mocne, jak i słabe strony oraz pokazuje potencjał technologii RFID. Podczas tworzenia niniejszej pracy wykorzystano różne techniki gromadzenia danych pierwotnych i wtórnych do celów analizy. Pod lupę wzięto dwa udane wdrożenia RFID, w USA na przykładzie Wal-Mart oraz w Szwajcarii na przykładzie Manor AG.
