Revolte beginnt vielleicht mit einem tiefen und weiten Gefühl, etwas, das nur durch Poesie ausgedrückt werden kann . Dieses philosophische Porträt eines Schriftstellers, Romanciers, Journalisten und Aktivisten (für die Rechte der Homosexuellen) listet einige Themen auf, die fast alle politisch sind und von denen einige immer noch aktuell sind. Es geht auch um einen Lebens- und Arbeitsstil, der trotz eines so umstrittenen (kompromisslosen) Mannes attraktiv bleibt . Ich habe mich zunächst entschlossen, meine Nachforschungen über Guy Hocquenghem anzustellen , und bin dabei aufviele Widerstände gestoßen. Ich untersuchte etwas Neues, damals Unbekanntes (nichts oder nur Schweigen), und es gelang mir, mein Buch zwei Jahre nach meiner Arbeit zuveröffentlichen : dank meines bescheidenen französischen Verlegers. Mitneun Jahren Verspätung folgtnun meine eigene Übersetzung dieses kurzen Essays.
