Besides the various English versions, many might have heard about, but know little about, the different versions in their original languages. The Masoretic Text (Hebrew version) is known as the mainstay among Hebrew scholars. There is also the Septuagint, or the Greek version of the Bible, the Latin Vulgate, and finally, the Samaritan Text.
