While captive, Anabar earns his freedom and meets Princess Astrida, daughter of the Ricamar king.When the Ricamars threaten to begin a war with the Semdelans, Anabar is torn between escaping to fight alongside the Scouts and staying to be with the princess. He ultimately decides to risk everything, his position, his love for the princess, and even his life, to attempt to prevent the war.
