This book was written as a result of the many individuals I had the opportunity to treat who had addiction issues. As a Probation officer, Correctional Counselor and Psychotherapist, I would make referrals to various agencies to assist these individuals in their recovery. I also provided group and individual counseling for them. What I found to be most effective was the incorporation of the spiritual aspect of addiction. Addiction can portray itself in many different forms, but the spirit is the same. The principles found in this book will work with any form of addiction, because it addresses the problem at its inception. I have personally used this program to address some issues of addiction I had, so I know that it works. This program is biblical based using the Word of God as its foundation, but is also includes neuro-psychology. It my belief that God has created us to have dominion in our life, with this knowledge we can empower ourselves to overcome any situation or circumstance. By using the Word of God, exercising your faith in the promises of God, and following the strategies in this book; you will release the prisoner within so that you can experience the freedom Jesus has made possible for you.
