He is a member of the Norwegian Non-Fiction Writers and Translators Association (NFF). He is the founder and editor of 'Folk' a teaching magazine in Norway. He is one of the founders of Christian Correspondence School and Bergen Bible School where he also teaches. He has an internationally recognized preaching and teaching ministry, which regularly takes him to various parts of the world, helping to empower the people of God. He is married to Solveig, they have raised six children of their own and are the proud grandparents of eleven grandchildren.
