Reflections: After Leaving the Tunnel is the sequel to Peter Cotton’s memoir, The Tunnel at the End of the Light, published upon his retirement in 2012. He revisits his childhood and the beginnings of his career in medicine and reflects on some of its current challenges. He reminisces about golf and introduces Americans to English and to cricket. He explains why he was not named after a rabbit. He describes some of his world travels, the many resulting friends, and his recent new career writing award-winning books for young children about Fred the friendly snake. Peter introduces his home on the eco-friendly Dewees Island and concludes with a paean to his extended family.
