She previously wrote two books of poetry, plus five other books. Her poetry explores the emotions of the woman in her A Woman in Love trilogy. 'I am inspired by the ups and downs of relations and marriages that I’ve been exposed to from friends and family as well as my own. I want to show that love is a complicated thing and that it isn’t always pure, true, or good. God touched my heart and told me to write this.'
