In 2008, writing became a passion for Kendra Ervin. She did not realize it to be a gift until she wrote her first two poems. Not seeing writing as a hobby, she saw it more as a way to express her thoughts, feelings and emotions, as well as those of others, who would frequently share their testimonies with her. With their encouragement and support of others around her, Kendra Ervin now has the courage to offer her writings in this book. Her book, Reflection Of The Past - Recognize and Release, is a collection of her poetry coming directly from her soul. The purpose of the book is to provide encouragement to others and allow them to see that they are never alone in their struggles and battles that they face now or have previously endured.
