A multiplexagem ortogonal por divisão de frequência (OFDM) é um método popular para a transmissão sem fios de elevada taxa de dados. A OFDM pode ser combinada com várias antenas, tanto no ponto de acesso como no terminal móvel, para aumentar o ganho de diversidade e melhorar a capacidade do sistema num canal de desvanecimento multipercurso variável no tempo, resultando num sistema MIMO-OFDM. Neste livro, estudámos vários métodos para melhorar a eficiência espetral e a fiabilidade da ligação do sistema OFDM, e também realizámos um estudo para aumentar o desempenho do sistema MIMO-OFDM e para reduzir a relação pico/potência média (PAPR).
