From the outside, Addilyn Yao’s upbringing with her paternal grandparents in Beijing, China, looks like a normal city life. But she harbors a dark secret of sexual abuse that ultimately tears her family apart. With dreams of becoming an international businesswoman, Addilyn journeys to America where she instead falls into the grips of the sex trade business-a profession for which she is ultimately criminalized in a heavily biased justice system. While in prison she meets Reverend Charles, who introduces her to Jesus’s mercy and forgiveness, despite the persistent struggle to forgive herself. Now Addilyn is determined to share her spiritual awakening with others to demonstrate that no mistake is bigger than God’s ability to set us on a better path to the greatest destiny of all-redemption.
