Moeder Aarde heeft sinds een halve eeuw de mens de heerschappij gegeven over zijn eigen voortplanting en de voortplanting van alle dieren en planten op aarde. Wij zijn hierdoor schatplichtig om de schade die wij aanrichten te herstellen. Vlees en eieren voor consumptie worden nog uitsluitend geproduceerd door kunstmatige inseminatie en met kweek en broedmachines. Meer dan 300 miljoen landbouwhuisdieren in de EU brengen hun hele leven door in een kooi. Coronavirus, Afrikaanse varkenspest, jaarlijkse Influenza virussen zijn het gevolg van ziekten bij dieren die ook op de mens over kunnen gaan. De Covid-19-20-21 pandemie met als gevolg de wereldwijde blokkade laten zien hoe kwetsbaar de samenleving is. Mensen die meer dierlijke eiwitten consumeren, hebben minder antilichamen en een verminderde afweer, zelfs als ze een zeer lage hoeveelheid dierlijke eiwitten consumeren. Vooral ouderen krijgen ziekten die voortkomen uit voeding die de immuunrespons en vorming van antilichamen vermindert. Het virus is een spijkerbom. Het vaccin is een kleine deurklopper. Het is van groot gelang dat wij allemaal ons ZELF wapenen tegen zoönosen door met voeding onze afweer optimaal te houden.
