In der Arbeit sind die völkerrechtlichen Aspekte der Dismembration der UdSSR im Kontext der Rechtsnachfolge behandelt. Auch heute verliert das Problem der völkerrechtlichen Beziehungen von Russland und der UdSSR nicht an Bedeutung. Aktuell bleibt die Formierung der völkerrechtlichen Stellung Georgiens zu denjenigen völkerrechtlichen Fragen, wie das Rechtsmodell der Kontinuität und der Identität. In diesem Zusammenhang ist das Problem des juristischen Verhältnisses zwischen dem gegenwärtigen georgischen Staat und der Demokratischen Republik Georgien (1918-1921) analysiert. 3
