To what extent is it possible for us to experience God as our God? We know the 'new Jerusalem' will eventually come down to earth in fullness (Rev. 21:2-3). But toward that increasing end, we are told to receive the 'heavenly Jerusalem' with 'gratitude' here and now and with the faith of a child (Heb. 12:22-24, 28; Mark 10:15; Mat. 19:14).
