This book 'Raushni aye Raushni (Light, oh light)' is a collection of selected poetry by Shakeb Jalali./دور جدید کی اردو غزل کے سرمایے میں جن شاعروں نے اضافہ کیا، یعنی اس کے رنگ و آہنگ میں معتد بہ تبدیلی پیدا کی، ان میں شکیب جلالی اہم حیثیت کے مالک ہیں۔ غزل کی شاعری فکر سے زیادہ جذبے کی شاعری ہوتی ہے اور اس جذبے کو جس طرح نکھار کر اور اس کے متضاد اور متنوع پہلوؤں کو جس طرح کھنگال کر شکیب جلالی نے پیش کیا ہے ایسا بہت کم شعرا نے کیا ہے۔ وہ اس کائنات میں ایک بھٹکی ہوئی اور اپنے آپ سے متصادم روح کی طرح اپنی غزلوں میں قاری کے روبرو آتے ہیں۔ ان کا تعلق انسانی معاشرے سے اتنا گہرا نہیں ہے، جتنا فطری کائنات سے ہے۔
