This an autobiography of how I survived a narcissistic parent with homicidal tendencies and it was a surreal reality I faced as I grew from a child into an adult, a mother, and a wife. A true story of how I was nearly killed more than once and survived. As small child who was often abused and neglected, later to become the source of all blame by her family. As an adult, I sought healing and understanding. Confusion led me down some painful roads as I did not have a healthy mentor to provide me with guidance and direction. Later in my life, my beloved family members were in the headlines of criminal intent which includes deception leading to homicide. A family member I loved was murdered and my spirit knew immediately who was to blame. Choosing to disconnect from all my family and friends to be safe from harm was a reality I faced. It was a painful and difficult decision to isolate from every family member and friends, but starting over was the best thing I ever did!Faith and perseverance lead me to new beginnings and miracles that can only be explained by a belief in God. No worldly explanation can come close to explaining many miracles I experienced. God’s mercy and grace encouraged me and caused my faith to increase. I was led to write my testimony of how God saved me and it took me three attempts to complete. During my last attempt to write my story I experienced many difficulties within myself and warred with my own thoughts as I struggled with what should and should not be in the text. In the end, the Lord encouraged me and guided me in the process. A coincidence is one thing, but when time and time again things happen without any worldly explanation there can only be one explanation. But God!In today’s society we hear of many terrible stories of people enduring severe affliction and abuse from other people. My hope is this story will encourage and lift up the broken people who need some light in their lives, so they may overcome the circumstances which has kept them from true peace and joy. This is a story of trial, pain, and sorrow and how I found my path to healing. I encourage the reader to find their path to healing and hope as they read my written testimony. This book is for anyone who needs healing and to help them find their healing journey and for those who follow true crime stories. Some parts are very difficult to read and were extremely painful to write. I would encourage parents to read it before allowing a teenager to read it. This is not recommended for children under the age of thirteen. It could provide as a healing tool for anyone who has been sexually assaulted and needs to know they are not alone. There is the what was and there is the story after the tragedy. We can stay in the sorrow or we can choose to look within and face the pain to overcome and live a life in victory. This is my story behind the headlines, newspaper articles, and television news reports. Many names have been changed to protect the innocent people or the ongoing investigations which remain active today. Some real names are listed in the book include those who were victims of crimes committed and are not here today to tell their side of the story. And one real name is of an individual who was charged to life in prison and died behind bars. As sad as the truth is, it must be told. As a society we cannot continue to live with secrets which protect criminals and allow more innocent people to be hurt or killed. I will stand by the truth and I will die by the truth. There are a few grammatical errors in the text, though they may insignificant to some readers, it could be annoying the proficient or expert reader. However, I believe it shows the authenticity of how I was once declared an illiterate and mentally incapable of ever living a full life. After much consideration, I decided to move forward with the publishing and to just be more diligent with the next book. Stay tuned for a second book.
