A Reconfiguração Parcial Dinâmica (DPR) é uma estrutura híbrida de software-hardware que combina a flexibilidade do software com a eficiência do hardware. A técnica DPR é utilizada num novo projeto proposto para implementar diferentes cadeias de comunicação utilizando uma única cadeia adaptável. Este trabalho mostra as vantagens da utilização da caraterística DPR da FPGA na implementação de um sistema de rádio definido por software (SDR) que pode alternar entre diferentes padrões de comunicação, como 2G, 3G, LTE e WIFI. O sistema SDR está a ser reconfigurado por hardware em tempo de execução para simular sistemas de comunicação sem fios multibanda/multipadrão, sendo a reconfiguração realizada na FPGA de forma parcial e dinâmica, enquanto a FPGA está a funcionar em pleno. Os resultados mostram uma melhoria na área e no consumo de energia.
