Le temps est une chose qui m’a toujours fascinée. En grandissant, il était aussi simple que le passage d’une journée ou une façon de définir l’âge. Je croyais que nous contrôlions le temps. C’était un outil de mesure créé par l’homme. Son seul but était d’organiser les événements en paquets bien définis. Mais au fil des années et de ma curiosité pour les sciences, j’ai commencé à poser des questions plus pressantes sur cette entité invisible. Quelle est sa véritable raison d’être ? Et quelle est sa véritable origine ? Même les plus grands esprits de l’histoire de la science se sont efforcés de comprendre ce que le temps signifiait réellement et ont cherché à savoir d’où il venait et quand il avait commencé. S’appuyant sur certains des travaux scientifiques les plus remarquables jamais publiés, ce livre est une exploration de référence de l’histoire du temps, qui est devenu le système qui définit notre univers tout entier.
