Søren Kierkegaard (1813-1855). Este pensador danés, a través de una creativa forma de escribir y de proponer la tarea filosófica, realizó un lúcido diagnóstico de nuestro mundo contemporáneo. Aunque pareciera ya lejano en el tiempo, en sus obras señala el resquebrajamiento del individuo en la sociedad masificada. Su pensamiento es en el fondo una profunda crítica social, pero no referida a los problemas habituales, ya sean de índole económico o político, sino de las mil formas como la sociedad, la cultura y los poderes dominantes hacen que se pierda la relación del individuo consigo mismo, de sus más genuinas aspiraciones, de sus creencias, del sentido de su existencia y de una relación más humana con los demás.
