Das Buch untersucht im Allgemeinen die Beziehung zwischen Hoffnung und psychischem Wohlbefinden bei Eltern mit behinderten Kindern. Es wird auch der Einfluss wichtiger Faktoren wie das Einkommen der Eltern, der Wohnort (Stadt/Land) und die Art der Behinderung des Kindes auf die Hoffnung und das psychische Wohlbefinden dieser Eltern untersucht. Das Buch kann für Lehrer, Eltern und Berater, die im Bereich Behinderung tätig sind, nützlich sein.
