L’obiettivo di questo lavoro è stato quello di esaminare e accertare la natura, le caratteristiche e le nuove dimensioni della psicologia positiva, nonché di contribuire alla crescente ricerca su questa scienza e, di conseguenza, di aggiungere allo stock di conoscenze esistenti su di essa. La ricerca ha rilevato e concluso che la psicologia positiva è ancora in fase di crescita, in quanto i ricercatori la affrontano da diverse prospettive in diversi stadi e contesti di sviluppo socio-economico, culturale e politico in tutto il mondo. Raccomanda di quantificare la ricchezza, la salute, lo sviluppo socio-economico e la stabilità politica dei Paesi sulla base delle SET (Stress Elimination Techniques) come metodo per contabilizzare la Felicità Nazionale Lorda (GNH) al posto del Prodotto Nazionale Lordo (PNL).
