Das Prozeßmanagement unterstützt die Optimierung der operativen Bereiche und deren Geschäftsabläufe. Normierte Managementsysteme dienen je nach der spezifischen Ausrichtung dazu, die Forderungen des Qualitäts-(ISO 9001), Umwelt-(ISO 14001) oder Arbeitsschutzmanagements (BS 8800) systematisch umzusetzen. Werden diese Managementsysteme unabhängig voneinander eingeführt, so werden einzelne Aspekte mehrfach bearbeitet. Eine empirische Untersuchung ergab Doppelarbeiten von bis zu 73%. Der Autor entwickelt ein allgemeingültiges Prozeßmodell für Industrieunternehmen, das als Grundlage für die Integration von Qualitäts-, Umwelt- und Arbeitsschutzmanagement dient. Im Rahmen eines zweiphasigen Vorgehens erhält der Praktiker einerseits einen Leitfaden für die Implementierung des Prozeßintegrierten Managements (PIM), andererseits bekommt er am Beispiel der MCC smart GmbH eine weitere Orientierungshilfe einer praxisgerechten Umsetzung des PIM-Modells.
