Esta propuesta tiene como objetivo diseñar un protocolo de primeros auxilios psicológicos para adultos de edades entre los 18 y 60 años con estados de ansiedad en el marco de la pandemia por Covid-19, esto con el fin de que los profesionales en psicológica cuenten con herramientas para la oportuna atención de dichas problemáticas. Para el desarrollo de esta propuesta se propone el modelo de primeros auxilios psicológicos de Slaikeu y el modelo de intervención en crisis de Barroso lo que permite que el protocolo que se propone se realice dando cumplimiento a las necesidades que tienen la población. Así mismo, se propone para el desarrollo de esta propuesta el uso del enfoque cualitativo con un diseño de tipo descriptivo, planteados por Hernandez, Fernández y Baptista lo que permite que se reconozca la importancia de este tipo de protocolos en la situación problema establecida además de identificar las estrategias que son adecuadas para intervenir las crisis de ansiedad en la población establecida.
