Protecting Value is a practical collection of 100 questions, instructions and reflections designed to help leaders protect what matters without allowing protection itself to become a source of weakness.Every organisation tries to protect people, customers, reputation, capability, assets, information, continuity and trust. Policies are written, controls are designed and responsibilities are assigned. But protection is never absolute. Every safeguard has a boundary, every control depends on assumptions, and what works in one set of conditions may become insufficient, excessive or even counterproductive in another. Protecting Value explores ten dimensions of intelligent protection: what deserves protection, whether safeguards genuinely work, ownership and stewardship, dependencies and concentration, boundaries and thresholds, resilience and recovery, assurance and reality, unintended consequences, proportionality, and how protection can enable ambition rather than simply constrain it. Each page contains a single prompt that can be used independently in a leadership meeting, governance discussion, risk review, project workshop or assurance conversation. The purpose is not to encourage more controls, but better protection: safeguards that preserve what cannot be lost while still allowing worthwhile action to continue. Part of the six-volume Intelligent Risk Series, Protecting Value is designed for executives, directors, governance professionals, risk practitioners, program and project leaders, assurance professionals and decision-makers responsible for balancing protection, resilience and opportunity.Good protection does more than reduce exposure. It gives the organisation greater confidence to act under uncertainty.

Eso tiene sentido: los grupos se forman porque las personas sienten la urgencia de un cambio e...
