Nota-se nos dias de hoje a rápida difusão de informação, principalmente nas redes sociais, com enfoque para o whatsapp, sendoque, pelo volume de informação partilhada em cada instante, fica difícil igualmente controla-la ou ainda valida-la, associado ao factode que não existe um mecanismo unificado de validação de tal informação. Neste contexto, fez-se a pesquisa sobre a necessidade devalidar a informação que circula em todos os meios de difusão de informação, em que, cerca 82% dos cidadãos afirmaram querecorrem a validação junto das instituições supostamente proprietárias dos anúncios, consulta entre colegas e amigos e informando-se directo na página oficial da instituição. Notando-se, no entanto, que o período para validação de informação, variamaioritariamente entre 24 horas e 10 dias no mínimo. Com base na pesquisa, desenvolveu-se o modelo informatizado de validaçãode informação em tempo real, desde que as bases de dados (contendo informação) sejam devidamente mapeadas, o que poderáreduzir em 64% a partilha de informação supostamente falsa, segundo os dados obtidos nos questionários à cidadãos e empresas.
