Every year, large sums of money are spent on public projects of all sizes and scales in the developing countries like Ethiopia. More often than not, large numbers of these public projects have a reputation for disappointing performance from the citizens’ perspective. Though, most projects are done for people of a country, many public projects fail to understand who their stakeholders are, or fail to engage with them effectively, lead to their not so successful completion. In view of that, this book presents empirical assessment of existence of formal project stakeholder management practice and procedures, and their role on performance of public projects in Ethiopia.
