These are the collected Christian devotional poems of Lillian Snyder Bursey (b.1924), written over four decades, with a short biography and photos of her life. Lillian, whose middle name is Grace, grew up in a religious family in a small country town in Virginia, where she was the Class Poetess of 1941. It was there that she met her high school sweetheart Charles H. Bursey, Jr. She was a war bride, housewife, and mother of four daughters before she resumed writing poetry, following a very vivid born again religious experience in 1973. After that experience, poems flowed out of her 'as if given to her by God.' Her poems reflect her love and faith in Jesus that has sustained her throughout the difficult passages of her life. They were compiled by her daughter, Carolyn Joy Dailey, in honor of her mother’s 90th Birthday, with the hope that others will find comfort in her faith and devotion and enjoyment in her poems.
