Cet ouvrage vise à théoriser l’expérience des praticiens dans l’enseignement de l’anglais dans des contextes EFL (English as a Foreign Language) en mettant en lumière et en conceptualisant leurs points de vue sur les questions liées à l’enseignement des langues. Si ces points de vue sont intégrés aux programmes de formation des enseignants, ils amélioreront considérablement la conception et la mise en œuvre de l’enseignement des langues dans ces contextes par les enseignants en formation. Chaque chapitre se concentre sur une question spécifique liée à l’enseignement des langues. L’auteur estime que les perspectives théoriques et celles des praticiens se complètent mutuellement ; c’est pourquoi chaque chapitre présente d’abord les perspectives théoriques, puis conceptualise et présente les témoignages issus de la salle de classe.
