The invasion of Ukraine by Russia in 2014 and 2022 has shocked many. The military tactics, the targeting of civilians, the rape and abuse of women, young and old, the summary execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war, and the use of penalty brigades of convicts as human cannon fodder are a Russian story since the Bolshevik revolution of 1917. The hegemony of the Chinese Communist Party over the Chinese people since 1949 is shielded from view not just by the CPC but is also beyond the comprehension of our fellow citizens living in the comforts of a liberal democracy. Our elites in our governing institutions, as well as in our high schools, colleges, and universities, have and continue to ignore, minimize, or gaslight our students and fellow citizens on Russian and socialist abuses of their own peoples since the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 to protect the ideologies of socialism, Marxism and communism because if a citizen in the West knew the history of socialism, Marxism and communism since 1917, the citizen would be horrified and would not go near it.Many of these same teachers, professors, journalists, and politicians double down on their deceit by relying on the dishonesty of historical presentism of applying the values of today to the acts and actors of yesterday. Historical presentism is used to denigrate the creation of the most significant rule of law country in history, the United States, as though it were something to be ashamed of. As the song says, may God mend thine every flaw.Western democracies must believe they are worthy to survive. Teaching pro-Russian and socialist history in our high schools, colleges, and universities is not the way to go. For simplification, this book contains seventy-two overt lies, obfuscations, and cover-ups for the crimes of socialism, Marxism, and communism, of which seventy-two items can be used to judge texts intended for teaching our young at your high schools, colleges, and universities.
