This was the holiday Şebnem and Jonathan had promised themselves and saved since their second year at medical school. Now newly qualified and recently married they had decided to take three relaxing weeks off before taking up there first jobs as newly qualified house doctors in the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle.
