On sait que le tabac est étroitement lié à la tension artérielle. Le tabac peut être consommé sous forme de tabac à fumer ou de tabac sans fumée. Cependant, la relation entre la consommation de tabac à fumer et de tabac sans fumée et la pression artérielle reste inconnue, en particulier dans les hôpitaux de niveau tertiaire. Ce livre, une étude transversale, a été réalisé pour évaluer les paramètres de la pression artérielle chez les hommes adultes fumeurs et consommateurs de tabac sans fumée. Au total, 420 hommes ont été sélectionnés et répartis en deux groupes : le groupe A, composé de 120 utilisateurs de tabac sans fumée, et le groupe B, composé de 300 patients fumeurs. Les moyennes (SD) de la pression artérielle systolique étaient respectivement de 154,50 (26,79) mm de Hg dans le groupe A et de 151,67 (19,24) mm de Hg dans le groupe B. Il n’y avait pas de différence statistiquement significative (P) entre les deux groupes. Il n’y avait pas de différence statistiquement significative (P>0,05) de la pression artérielle systolique entre les groupes. Les moyennes (SD) de la pression artérielle diastolique étaient de 96,67 (SD 10,93) mm de Hg dans le groupe A et de 86,47 (SD 14,74) mm de Hg dans le groupe B, respectivement, et étaient significativement plus élevées (P
