Lo studio del feedback correttivo ESL ha attirato una notevole attenzione nei decenni precedenti. Vari aspetti della correzione degli errori sono stati studiati ed esaminati attraverso osservazioni, indagini e interviste. Come conseguenza della mancanza di informazioni nel Regno dell’Arabia Saudita, le preferenze degli studenti per il feedback correttivo sono diventate necessarie nel processo di acquisizione della lingua target. Come tale, questo sforzo riflette gli approcci teorici delle preferenze di feedback correttivo di una sezione trasversale di studenti a Jeddah, KSA in errori scritti e orali. La mia speranza è che questo sforzo contribuisca ai tentativi in corso per migliorare la collaborazione tra insegnanti e studenti nelle classi ESL in tutto il mondo.
