On the side of all that is pure and good, he befriends empathetic, caring individuals such as Sarah and her cousin Trudy who practice the art of witchcraft, both white and black, and a large, ill-tempered Irish pub owner who employs his own special justice to those who misbehave in his pub.The plot is fast-paced and riveting. The punishments imposed upon innocent and guilty alike, are barbaric and gruesome.
