Tom Gabbard has always been a Christian.  However, what it meant to be a Christian was not always clear.  He was born into a Christian family that had been faithful to the Church for several generations.  The tradition was to attend church regularly and to try to be a good person. All of this changed when a friend was healed of terminal cancer.  Tom devoted his life to the Lord upon hearing the news of this stunning miracle.  The new birth and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit were soon to follow. The Lord led him to lead chapters of the Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship where he was exposed to stories of life changing new birth and faith miracles.  In time he accepted a second career appointment to the ministry of the United Methodist Church and spent nine years as Pastor of Sharon United Methodist Church in Decatur, Illinois.  Now, he and Bette, his wife of 53 years, live in retirement in Plano, Texas. The material for this book is the compilation of many experiences.  The key note is that of faith.  Tom has concluded that for one to have success with God, there must be a living faith.  That is 1) a knowledge of the will of God.  2) A repentance from sin and dead works.  And 3) A petition specifically detailing what is needed.Reverend Gabbard has prepared a four-hour seminar for church or community leadership aiming to reignite people’s faith in God for abundant rains, for salvation in the home or family, for abundance, for healing and health, and for deliverance. Contact Reverend Gabbard if you would like to discuss a seminar of this nature.E-mail: thomasgabbard@verizon.netPhone: 972-951-4884

There is a dark side to light, you know.  Evil wears many disguises.  It always camouflages itself as other than it is; and, good men are deceived.  The very nature of deception is that the deceived do not know that they are deceived.  There is a dark side to light, you know.  In the midst of the darkness – the children of light!  The backdrop – spiritual warfare. This Christia...

We’ve been duped into removing prayer from the center of our churches and have placed it on the periphery or semi-periphery.  What we’re witnessing today in our churches, and in society at large, is that legacy of prayerlessness.  Church leadership may be hesitant and embarrassed to admit it, but there is a direct correlation between our spiritual weakness and our lack of corpo...

If God is good, why do we get sick? When God created the world, He declared: "It is good." But then came the Fall, and with it sickness and death. In this heart-tugging monograph, Dr. Davis McGuirt draws from both his training in theology and the personal agony of watching his father die from cancer to provide a variety of biblical reasons for why we get sick. We are also remin...
