The author Dale Roberts I.E. Elad Strebor has made amazing strides in his writing of poetry, six years ago talking a poem would have been a huge hurdle to jump. It all started when he was writing a book about his son (Brian) and the path that Dale had lived before and after his son’s death. While putting his thoughts on paper he felt his words needed to be expanded on.After reading a poetry book about heroes of World War II, Dale put pen to paper and the rest is history. He started with basics forms of poetry and with his first book; (The Birth of A Poet with Poems Straight From his Heart), he brought out his anger and the heart aches about his Sons demise. His poems also dealt with many other different aspects of life from beauty, people, nature and the many joys of life. His second book; (Poems From the Depth of My Soul and Beyond) expands his talent as he writing has involved into a higher form by looking at life and all the many wonders we are blessed with. His heart will always be scared from the death of his Son (Brian). Yet Dale has reach deep into his soul to bring forward thoughts about life and how God has blessed us even after his only Son was sacrificed. Now this author has taken his gift for writing and come up with some very thoughtful Haikus. The Haikus in this book; (Powerful Haiku Thoughts) will expand your mind. These poems will enable you to see many things about life, that all may not realize when they see it, and is put everything into a shorter form.I hope all read my poems are not only enlighten with the many wonders we are all blessed with, they will go forward and enjoy what God has done for all of us.

    Edward V Bonner
The very title of Edward V. Bonner's first volume of poetry, One Kiss (Ingram, 2015), suggests some ways in which the poems inside balance the universal with the particular.
