This book has been written to help to inspire and motivate those who choose to journey through its pages. It is a place to begin for those who don’t know where to start on their path to a fulfilling and meaningful, optimistic life. It is also for those who just need to be reminded of how empowered we can be through our daily choices, and for those who either do not have time for bigger books, or may find them intimidating. I believe that when we do not know what or who we stand for, we can fall for anything. When we have no focus we are like a boat on the ocean without a motor. We change direction at the oceans choosing, rather than our own. When we have a motor we stay on course and make our own path. It is my hope that this book may be used as a compass to help you find your destination. So, that even when it is stormy you can stay on your path and weather your life storms, without losing sight of the shore and the lighthouse. There are many ways that you can utilize this book in your daily life. There is no wrong way. Some suggestions are to read one fundamental a day and also the page that explains it. Beautiful pictures of flowers have been chosen to go with each fundamental. They can be used as a meditation tool or to just enjoy. You will notice that the flowers are in black and white. The color of the flower is in the right hand corner of the picture. This gives you the opportunity to really look at the details of the flower and not just be taken by the color. So often we only look at the obvious in life and miss the details. It is also an exercise in visualization to imagine the flower as the color written in the corner of the picture. What we can visualize we can realize. This applies to all things in our life. Dispersed throughout the book are inspirational sayings and words of wisdom.
