Niniejsza praca ma na celu przedstawienie rozwoju i wyników badań analityczno-doświadczalnych prototypu eksperymentalnie opracowanego silnika prądu stałego. Zasada działania tego silnika opiera się na siłach odpychania pomiędzy magnesami lub elektromagnesami. Podstawą do analizy sił, pola i momentu działającego na wirnik były prawa magnetostatyki, takie jak prawo Ampére’a i prawo Biota Savarta, a także pojęcia związane z zasadą działania silnika prądu stałego. Do modelowania eksperymentu użyto programu SketchUp, narzędzia, które pozwala na budowę modeli geometrycznych, modeli fizycznych i wreszcie prototypu, pozwalającego na strategiczne rozmieszczenie cewek, wirnika i stojana, mając za główny cel modelowanie, przedstawienie eksperymentu z charakterystyką silnika elektrycznego i że jego struktura jest podobna do przykładów z podręczników. W budowie prototypu zastosowano elementy niskokosztowe, wykorzystując wyrzucone elementy wyposażenia.
