Tout ce qui concerne l’être humain m’intrigue et me passionne. On ne dira jamais assez la richesse du tissage de ce qui fait le caractère d’un individu, la complexité d’une personnalité. Ce qu’il faut de fibres amalgamées, superposées, tressées, de l’enfance à l’âge adulte, pour en faire cette matière, brute ou plus ou moins raffinée, qui constitue une personne. Dans ces quatre nouvelles j’ai fait vivre des personnages fictifs et j’ai dressé pour chacun un portrait qui nous amène à partager ce que peuvent être les ressorts intimes de l’égoïsme, l’orgueil, l’addiction, le mensonge, la manipulation, la jalousie, la violence. Mais par un jeu d’autofiction, en taillant dans un patchwork de souvenirs, je les ai fait évoluer dans des lieux dont certains furent liés à ma vie.
