I musei sono risorse culturali significative, luoghi di incontro e interazione tra il turista e il territorio visitato. Inoltre, sono punti di riferimento anche dopo l’esperienza turistica. Tuttavia, l’interpretazione è fondamentale in questo processo ed essenziale nella costruzione dell’immagine turistica. Pertanto, il libro si propone di identificare l’approccio ai principi di interpretazione del patrimonio nella costruzione delle politiche governative nazionali, analizzando convergenze e divergenze intersettoriali. A tal fine, sono stati analizzati il Piano Nazionale Settoriale dei Musei, il Libretto di Orientamento al Turismo Culturale, il Piano Nazionale per il Turismo e il Programma di Regionalizzazione del Turismo. Dalla ricerca è possibile notare differenze di comprensione dei concetti dei principi dell’interpretazione del patrimonio e che l’intersettorialità politica deve ancora essere perfezionata.
