A crescente preocupação com as questões ambientais motiva os investigadores a desenvolver métodos de síntese ecológicos, como a mecânico-química, que se estabeleceu como uma via de síntese rápida e ecológica para a preparação de materiais. Os polímeros de coordenação são materiais funcionais constituídos por nós metálicos ligados por ligantes orgânicos funcionalizados. A presença de flúor melhora a estabilidade à água dos compostos resultantes. Os metais alcalino-terrosos são úteis para preparações aquosas, o que abre portas para novas aplicações. Além disso, a abundância e a biocompatibilidade dos iões AE prometem a construção de CPs económicos e não tóxicos com propriedades interessantes. Estes materiais são sintetizados em condições solvotérmicas. Neste trabalho, as sínteses mecânicas são empregadas como um método rápido e ecológico para sintetizar uma série de polímeros de coordenação. Os materiais fluorados obtidos por moagem são comparados com os seus homólogos sem flúor nas mesmas condições. As estruturas cristalinas dos materiais obtidos por moagem são determinadas ab initio a partir de dados de difração de raios X em pó. Os compostos resultantes após a moagem são investigados sistematicamente por diferentes métodos analíticos.
