Yes Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and we're a part of the Royal Family of God but we still have our moments: • When we feel lonely, forgotten, unloved and that no one cares about us • When we feel helpless, hopeless and like we can't go on • When we lose sight of our true identity-who we are in Christ as well as both the blessings and burdens that come along with being one of His • When we slip up and take God's blessings for granted and find ourselves complaining rather than thanking This book of poems is a source of inspiration and encouragement for the child of God who is striving to keep the FAITH. Summer Johnson loves God and people. Her greatest joy in serving Him is encouraging others via poetry, devotional thoughts, prayer, listening, the ministry of presence-whichever God lays on her heart. She's not a preacher or some super saint, and her degree is actually in biology rather than theology. Instead she's just one who's willing to be used to edify the body of Christ through the gifts God has given her. Her diagnosis with breast cancer at the young age of 29 has not weakened her faith in God or her service to God but has facilitated greater ministry as God has blessed her repeatedly, strengthening and sustaining her spirit and keeping her faith intact as He heals her body. Two of her favorite phrases are To God Be The Glory (TGBTG) and Keep The Faith (KTF). She's trusting that God will get the glory and that His people will be encouraged to KTF through this book of poems.
